parked in front of a hotel on a walking mall downtown, an attractive young woman (early 20s) comes up with her guy friend and is admiring the car. "Wow, that's a beautiful car. I love it, is it fast? Can I sit in it?" Of course I let her sit in it, she is really enthralled with the car, and I'm thinking hey, this is great, finally some appreciation instead of the most recent "Is that a miniature Corvette?" Anyway, so she sits in the car, and then gets out and is eyeballing it again and as she's walking around to the front of the car, she says "So, what kind of car is it?" Then before I can respond, she looks down and notices the Nissan emblem on the front center panel and and in the most disgusted tone of voice she says "UGH, it's a Nissan???" And then just turns and walks away. There were several guys standing around at that point and we all just started laughing at her (including the guy she was with). I couldn't help but immediately respond with "Yeah, it's a Nissan, and good luck finding another one of these in Colorado that is this nice!" That may or may not be a true statement but I was amazed at the sudden 180 when she found out it wasn't some type of European sportscar.
